Today, at the headquarters of Fondazione CRT, Anna Maria Poggi (President of Fondazione CRT), Fabio Pammolli (President of the Italian Institute of Artificial Intelligence – AI4I), and Stefano Corgnati (Rector of Politecnico di Torino) presented the project of the Digital Revolution House (DRH).
Made possible thanks to a €15 million investment by Fondazione CRT, the DRH will be a flexible and technologically advanced hub for research and innovative education in artificial intelligence and digital transformation. It represents a strategic alliance between Fondazione CRT, Politecnico di Torino and the Italian Institute of Artificial Intelligence (AI4I), following a governance model inspired by the OGR Torino experience.
“Thanks to CRT’s support and to the strengthened collaboration with Politecnico, we are completing a fundamental step in the life of our Institute,” said Fabio Pammolli, President of the Italian Institute of Artificial Intelligence (AI4I). “The goal is to bring a significant number of young scientists from all over the world, enabling them to work at the heart of an integrated ecosystem at the frontier of technological research, in close proximity to Politecnico and OGR. AI4I will provide modern, flexible spaces designed for collaborative research, networking, and the attraction and retention of international talent.”
For AI4I, the project marks the consolidation of its physical presence in Turin, with new facilities dedicated to research, training, institutional activities and technology transfer—complementing those already available at OGR Torino.
The DRH will also contribute to the urban regeneration of the Spina 2 area, integrating into Turin’s innovation ecosystem that includes OGR, the Energy Center, Fondazione Links and the Politecnico campus. Designed according to the highest sustainability standards (Protocollo Itaca), the building will host innovative teaching spaces, interdisciplinary research labs, and collaborative environments.
With the Digital Revolution House, Turin strengthens its role as a city of innovation and knowledge, regenerating spaces for science and consolidating its attractiveness for global talent.
