The Italian Institute of Artificial Intelligence for Industry (AI4I), the CRT Foundation and Officine Grandi Riparazioni (OGR) signed on November 29 a strategic partnership agreement that confirms Turin’s role as a national and international hub for the development and application of artificial intelligence in the industrial sector, promoting a dynamic ecosystem that involves startups, large companies, universities, and research centers.

The protocol officially establishes AI4I’s headquarters in the city of Turin, within the OGR Tech spaces, an excellence hub for innovation that hosts emerging realities and significant technological projects.

The agreement aims to create an integrated ecosystem where research, development, and industrial applications can grow in synergy. Through OGR, the CRT Foundation will not only host the institute but will actively contribute to promoting artificial intelligence as a driver for technological and industrial innovation.

Anna Poggi, president of the CRT Foundation, emphasized in an interview with La Stampa that the signing of the agreement with AI4I represents a revitalization signal for the Foundation, which has embarked on a governance renewal process and increased its funding to support long-term projects, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence and its applications in the industrial sector.
