The Italian Institute of Artificial Intelligence for Industry AI4I and Zest S.p.A. Italy’s leading early-stage operator with a portfolio of over 250 startups signed a three-year collaboration agreement on December 30, 2024, to promote innovation in artificial intelligence and support startup development to enhance the competitiveness of Italy’s industrial ecosystem
At the core of this strategic partnership lies the creation of a collaborative ecosystem designed to foster the growth of emerging startups in AI-related strategic sectors. To achieve this, several initiatives will be implemented. First, synergies between acceleration programs will enable startups in Magic Mind, Zest’s AI-focused acceleration program, to leverage the technological expertise and resources provided by AI4I. Additionally, the partnership will include joint efforts on concrete projects, leading to tailored solutions that address the specific needs of SMEs and industrial partners. Finally, the collaboration will establish a network of opportunities to facilitate connections between investors, researchers, and companies at both national and local levels, fostering visibility and new collaborations.
The partnership will be further strengthened by the upcoming launch of AI4I’s System User Knowledge (SUK), a platform designed to provide tailored expertise and services across the entire lifecycle of AI solutions.
