AI4I took part in the conference “AI and Automation. Shaping the future of industrial production”, held at LIUC – Università Cattaneo and promoted by i-FAB in collaboration with Confindustria Varese and Servizi Confindustria Varese.

The event brought together over 250 participants, including companies, researchers, technology providers and institutional stakeholders — a unique opportunity to discuss concrete AI applications in manufacturing and logistics systems, with the presentation of 11 local pilot projects developed by i-FAB and Confindustria Varese.

Among the speakers: Anna Gervasoni (LIUC – Università Cattaneo), Luca G. Donelli (Confindustria Varese), Arturo Baroncelli (Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna), Alessandro Garnero (Servizi Confindustria Varese) and Fiorenza Succu (AI4I – Istituto Italiano di Intelligenza Artificiale per l’Industria).

Fiorenza Succu, Chief Evangelist of AI4I, highlighted the Institute’s commitment:
“AI4I provides companies with a flexible architecture of services designed to meet their specific needs, through linear processes and – above all – rapid implementation times. Because in this phase and in this sector, time is crucial. Our ambition is clear: making Artificial Intelligence a concrete ally for the Italian industry.”

Engaging with stakeholders, fostering dialogue, and creating connections between research and business is at the heart of AI4I’s mission — building an open ecosystem for sustainable and competitive industrial innovation.
