As part of our ongoing effort to build a high-level, mission-driven team, AI4I is opening a new position for an Associate Managing Director at the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) — a core unit within the Institute dedicated to international exchange, advanced training, and visionary thinking on Artificial Intelligence.
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and highly organized professional to lead the operational and strategic development of the IAS. The ideal candidate has a background in research management, academic programming, or international scientific cooperation, and is passionate about making an impact in the AI ecosystem.
Based in Turin, the Associate Managing Director will be responsible for curating world-class events, liaising with global institutions and researchers, and making the IAS a vibrant hub for knowledge, talent, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
This role is part of AI4I’s broader strategy to foster excellence in research, innovation, and education — shaping a new European infrastructure for Artificial Intelligence, grounded in collaboration, openness, and long-term vision.
The Director of the IAS will also benefit from direct interaction with AI4I’s world-class Scientific Advisory Board, composed of leading voices in AI research and innovation globally.
