Role Overview
AI4I is seeking a young, dynamic, and energetic manager to lead the operations of the newly established FCSP Institute of Advanced Study. The Institute will host world-class keynote speakers, academics, and lecturers from leading international AI research institutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the strategy and managing the day-to-day operations of the Institute, positioning it as a premier hub for AI knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration. You will curate, organize, and deliver high-impact workshops, seminars, lectures, and advanced education programs, attracting top-tier talent from global academia and research communities.

This role is based in Turin, Italy.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Program Development and Delivery
- Curate and organize a high-level program of workshops, seminars, lectures, and higher education sessions.
- Collaborate with the AI4I leadership and the Scientific Advisory Board to identify and invite distinguished speakers, lecturers, and researchers from around the world.
- Ensure the design and delivery of engaging and impactful educational content.
Logistics and Operations
- Manage all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, scheduling, and participant coordination.
- Guarantee a seamless, high-quality experience for all attendees.
- Oversee the Institute’s budget and resource allocation effectively.
Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, research institutions, and industry stakeholders.
- Engage AI4I’s internal R&D community in the activities of the Institute of Advanced Study.
- Coordinate with the Institute’s researchers to gather suggestions, ideas, and proposals for guest invitations.
- Collaborate with AI4I-affiliated universities to promote events and seminars among students and faculty, including opportunities for co-designing educational content.
- Cultivate strategic relationships with potential sponsors and international partners.
- Promote the Institute’s activities and achievements across global academic and scientific networks.
Community Building
- Foster a vibrant and collaborative environment for participants and visiting scholars.
- Create structured opportunities for networking and knowledge exchange.
- Develop and manage the Institute’s online presence and communication channels.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset.
- Passion for developing high-quality relationships with lecturers and the Institute’s scientific community.
- Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field.
- Ability to manage and coordinate academic or high-profile educational programs.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in event planning and operational logistics.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential; Fluency in Italian, German, and/or French is a plus.
