AI4I hosted the Minister of University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, at its OGR Tech premises in Turin. Welcomed by AI4I President Fabio Pammolli and the Institute’s executive team, Minister Bernini toured the R&D labs and participated in an in-depth briefing on AI4I’s strategic projects.

During the visit, AI4I highlighted:

  • Applied research projects addressing predictive maintenance, intelligent automation and digital twin technologies.

  • Custom AI solutions co-developed with SMEs and large enterprises to optimize production lines and enhance product innovation.

  • Technology transfer pipelines that accelerate the commercialization of breakthrough algorithms.

  • Talent development efforts, including the recent international call for R&D Unit directors, which attracted hundreds of applications from leading institutions worldwide.
