Artificial intelligence is at the center of one of today’s most intense debates: trillion-dollar investments, the hype around general AI, and sharp divisions among experts about what current systems can actually do. Yet a crucial question remains: can we really trust AI?

At the fourth IAS Seminar, Marco ZaffalonUniversity Professor and Scientific Director at IDSIA (USI-SUPSI), Chief Scientist at Artificialy – will take us into the world of causal AI, exploring how reliability can be built into AI systems by design. His talk will move from the limitations of today’s generative models to the promise of causal inference as a foundation for more robust and trustworthy technologies.
