AI Match Torino 2026 has entered its operational phase following the webinar held on 21 January 2026, which marked the first public step in the implementation of the programme after its presentation to the press in November.

The initiative is promoted by the Italian Institute of Artificial Intelligence (AI4I), in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Turin and Piemonte Innova, and is designed to support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Turin area in the concrete adoption of Artificial Intelligence solutions.

The webinar, attended by around 200 companies, confirmed the strong interest of the local business community in structured and guided AI innovation pathways and in SuK (System User Knowledge).

AI Match Torino 2026 aims to bridge the gap between growing interest in AI and the ability of companies to translate it into operational projects.

The programme offers a structured pathway combining training, tutoring, technical support and financial contributions, accompanying companies from the definition of an AI project to the concrete implementation of solutions.

During the webinar, the structure of AI Match Torino 2026 was presented, articulated into two phases.

The first phase focuses on training and tutoring, supporting participating companies in defining and structuring an Artificial Intelligence project aligned with their operational and organisational needs.

The second phase is reserved for the most mature projects, which will be able to benefit from a contribution, either as direct financial support or in the form of free services, for the concrete development of AI solutions.

The event opened with introductory remarks by Guido Cerrato, Head of the Area for Territorial Development and Market Regulation at the Chamber of Commerce of Turin, and Antonio Calegari, Director of the Italian Institute of Artificial Intelligence (AI4I).

This was followed by the presentation of the call, including eligible beneficiaries, admissible initiatives and costs, types of contribution and application procedures, delivered by Paolo Veneruso of the Punto Impresa Digitale of the Chamber of Commerce of Turin.
Fiorenza Succu, Chief Evangelist at AI4I, then presented the role of the Institute, the technologies covered by the call and the training pathway offered to participating companies.

The webinar concluded with a Q&A session and closing remarks by Nicoletta Marchiandi, Head of the Innovation and Calls Unit and of the Punto Impresa Digitale at the Chamber of Commerce of Turin. The event was held online, with free participation upon registration.
