The Italian Institute of Artificial Intelligence (AI4I) has launched four new international calls aimed at strengthening its strategy for global talent attraction across research, engineering and large-scale industrial deployment of artificial intelligence.

The initiative marks a further step in the Institute’s growth and reinforces Turin’s role as an emerging European hub for applied AI and frontier research.

The open positions span the entire AI value chain, from advanced scientific research to the engineering and deployment of AI systems in real-world production environments.

 This approach reflects AI4I’s mission to transform cutting-edge research into reliable, scalable technologies with measurable impact for industry, services and public administration.

The four calls currently open are:

Generative AI Engineer, focused on the design, deployment and operation of large language model–based solutions, including retrieval-augmented generation systems, intelligent agents and task-specific copilots in real industrial and enterprise environments;

Machine Learning Engineer, dedicated to developing and deploying machine learning solutions for high-impact industrial use cases such as predictive maintenance, anomaly detection and quality inspection;

Head of the AI Deployment Laboratory, a senior leadership role responsible for guiding the large-scale adoption of AI technologies across industrial ecosystems and for bridging applied research and production environments;

Postdoctoral Researcher in Software Engineering & Robotics, within the IDeaLS Lab, contributing to advanced research on MLOps, AI-enabled cyber-physical systems and intelligent robotics, in close collaboration with leading international research partners.

All positions are based at OGR Torino, one of Europe’s most dynamic innovation hubs, and offer access to high-performance computing infrastructures, strong industrial collaborations and a highly international scientific environment.

With these calls, AI4I continues to build an open and global scientific community, attracting talent from Italy and abroad and fostering collaboration at the intersection of research excellence and industrial transformation.
