Officine d’Intelligenza, the 1st National Forum on Artificial Intelligence for Industry, will take place in Turin on 20 February 2026. The initiative is promoted by Istituto Italiano di Intelligenza Artificiale (AI4I), OGR Torino and Fondazione CRT.

Officine d’Intelligenza is conceived as a public forum dedicated to the application of Artificial Intelligence in industrial and productive systems and represents the natural evolution of the path launched in 2025 with the Mind Machines – AI Dialogues series, which brought scholars, researchers and leading voices of the international AI debate to Turin.

The Forum aims to foster dialogue among institutions, industry, research and the financial sector, with the objective of analysing opportunities, challenges and enabling conditions for the effective and responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence in industrial processes, contributing to the strengthening of the competitiveness of the Italian and European industrial system.

The event will bring together leading figures from national and local institutions, authoritative representatives of the research and academic communities, as well as key stakeholders from industry and business associations, offering a shared space for discussion on strategies, policies and concrete applications of AI in industry.

Officine d’Intelligenza will also mark the first public presentation of the 2026–2030 Strategic Plan of the Istituto Italiano di Intelligenza Artificiale (AI4I), outlining the Institute’s development priorities, investment lines and areas of intervention aimed at reinforcing the national AI ecosystem and supporting the competitiveness of the productive system.

The programme will be structured around plenary sessions and thematic round tables, focusing in particular on:
  • industrial scenarios and policies for Artificial Intelligence;
  • AI applications in key productive sectors;
  • technological infrastructures, computing capacity and data;
  • skills, research and talent attraction;
  • models of public–private collaboration.
Officine d’Intelligenza is part of the broader innovation ecosystem centred in Turin and at the OGR, confirming their role as a national hub for debate and experimentation on Artificial Intelligence applied to industry.
