Everything is ready for the first edition of the CSP–IAS Winter School on Cryptography and Machine Learning, taking place at OGR Torino from February 2 to 5, 2026, and already fully booked, confirming the strong international interest around one of the most advanced frontiers in AI research: the intersection between machine learning and modern cryptography.

Organized within the framework of the CSP–IAS – Institute for Advanced Study of AI4I, established with the support of Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, the Winter School marks the conclusion of the Institute’s first year of activity and confirms Turin as an emerging hub for high-level scientific dialogue on artificial intelligence.

Over four intensive days, graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, early-career academics and industry professionals will engage with world-class experts through lectures, keynotes and panel discussions addressing critical challenges such as adversarial vulnerabilities in machine learning, verification and integrity of AI systems, cryptographic approaches tailored to learning, watermarking and tracing of AI-generated content, and the foundations of secure and verifiable machine learning.

Each day combines morning lectures with afternoon keynotes and panels, leaving room for networking and informal exchanges, fostering collaboration across disciplines and institutions. By the end of the program, participants will have gained a solid understanding of both theoretical and applied challenges shaping secure and trustworthy AI systems.

With registrations now fully booked, the Winter School confirms CSP–IAS as a growing reference point for advanced AI research and international scientific exchange in Europe.
