The Italian Institute of Artificial Intelligence (AI4I) and Unione Industriali Torino have signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding aimed at supporting the adoption of artificial intelligence across the Piedmont industrial ecosystem, with a particular focus on small and medium-sized enterprises.

Within this framework, the SUK (System User Knowledge) platform will play a central operational role by:
  • facilitating the matching between companies expressing industrial needs and AI solution providers;
  • supporting enterprises in identifying concrete and sustainable AI use cases;
  • making scientific expertise and applied research accessible to industrial value chains.
Through the agreement, associated companies will gain access to AI4I’s technological and innovation infrastructure, including:
  • A4I R&D Centers dedicated to applied research and technology transfer;
  • the AI4I Foundry “Peano”, a high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure designed for the development and testing of AI solutions;
  • pilot projects enabling the direct experimentation of artificial intelligence within production processes.
As highlighted by AI4I President Fabio Pammolli, the objective is to support the integration of AI into real industrial environments by strengthening the connection between research, engineering and industrial deployment.
