On March 23, 2026 AI4I took part in the institutional mission led by the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy in Ankara, aimed at strengthening cooperation between Italy and Turkey in the fields of science, technology and industrial development.
Within this framework, Giovanni Castino, Head of Public Affairs and International Relations at AI4I, participated in the first meeting of the Italy–Turkey ministerial committee “Science, Technology, Innovation, Industry and Investments” (STI3). The meeting marks a further step towards a structured and operational collaboration between the two countries on advanced technologies and industrial innovation.
The mission defined a joint roadmap to reinforce industrial and technological partnerships, with a growing focus on artificial intelligence as a strategic driver of competitiveness and innovation.
In this context, AI4I contributes to the dialogue between Italian and Turkish stakeholders, supporting the development of new opportunities for collaboration in AI applied to industry. The Institute’s engagement is oriented towards three main directions:
- supporting technology transfer between research and enterprises;
- developing joint projects on artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing;
- strengthening a shared vision of industrial innovation.
International cooperation represents a key accelerator to address the challenges of technological transformation and to build more integrated and competitive innovation ecosystems.
