The Italian Institute of Artificial Intelligence (AI4I) took part in AI Week in Milan, engaging with companies, SMEs, startups, researchers and public organisations interested in leveraging artificial intelligence to transform their activities.

On May 19th, Yari Nardiello, Head of Strategy and Fiorenza Succu, Chief Evangelist, contributed, together with CINECA, to the panel  “ITALIA AI Factory – Powering Italy’s AI Ecosystem”, presenting the strategic initiative aimed at strengthening national AI capabilities.

The session highlighted the role of IT4LIA’s high-performance computing infrastructure and the range of services designed for businesses, startups, researchers and public bodies. These include access to large-scale HPC resources optimised for AI, a portfolio of application services, and SUK – System User Knowledge, the matchmaking platform connecting organisations with AI solution providers.

A concrete example was provided by Goinweb, whose CEO Marco Carotti presented how the company leveraged IT4LIA resources to develop a new product, demonstrating the impact of the AI Factory on business innovation.
