Following the launch of AI Match Turin, the National AI Match Program is now expanding to the Province of Cuneo with the goal of supporting local micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in identifying, designing, and implementing Artificial Intelligence solutions.

Promoted by the Cuneo Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Artificial Intelligence (AI4I) and Fondazione Piemonte Innova, AI Match Cuneo 2026 was created to guide companies through a structured innovation journey, helping them transform operational needs and growth opportunities into concrete and sustainable AI projects.

The initiative is aimed at companies based in the Province of Cuneo that are interested in developing innovation projects powered by Artificial Intelligence. Up to 60 companies will be selected to participate in a dedicated support program designed to foster the effective adoption of AI technologies and accelerate technology transfer processes.

Participating companies will benefit from:

  • A training and capacity-building program focused on AI adoption;
  • A customized matching report connecting companies with qualified providers available through AI4I’s SUK platform;
  • One-on-one mentoring sessions with industry experts;
  • The opportunity to access vouchers of up to €10,000 for selected projects;
  • Specialized technical support and application development services provided in kind by AI4I.

The program’s objective is to help businesses understand the potential of AI, identify the most relevant use cases for their operations, and define innovative projects capable of generating tangible value for their organizations.

As part of this journey, AI4I provides not only specialized expertise and support services but also SUK – System for User Knowledge, a platform developed to facilitate the connection between demand and supply in the Artificial Intelligence innovation ecosystem.

Through this approach, companies gain access to a qualified network of technological expertise, reducing the complexity that often characterizes the launch of innovation projects and accelerating the path from idea to implementation.

SUK is one of the key assets of the model developed by AI4I. By connecting industrial needs with technological capabilities and collaboration opportunities, it makes technology transfer faster, more effective, and more accessible—particularly for SMEs, which often lack the resources needed to independently navigate the AI market.

With AI Match Cuneo 2026, AI4I reaffirms its commitment to strengthening Italy’s innovation ecosystem, fostering connections between businesses and AI technology providers, and helping transform the potential of Artificial Intelligence into concrete opportunities for growth and competitiveness across the Italian manufacturing and business landscape.

The initiative represents another step forward in promoting a technology transfer model that places business needs at its core while recognizing AI as a key driver of innovation, productivity, and economic development across local territories.
