AI4I, the Chamber of Commerce of Turin and Piemonte Innova launch a structured programme combining training, intelligent matching and co-designed industrial projects.
Turin, 10 November 2025 — The Italian Institute of Artificial Intelligence (Ai4I), the Chamber of Commerce of Turin, and the Piemonte Innova Foundation have launched AI Match, the first national pilot programme designed to make artificial intelligence accessible and actionable for small and medium enterprises.
Presented at Palazzo Birago, AI Match aims to support SMEs in integrating AI into their operations through a guided pathway that includes awareness building, skills development, intelligent matching between companies and solution providers, and the co-design of real industrial projects with scientific supervision from AI4I.
Programme Structure
AI Match is built around five integrated components:
Training and orientation on the potential and strategic use of AI
Needs-mapping and challenge definition to clarify priorities
Smart matching via SUK – System User Knowledge, the platform developed by AI4I
Co-design and technical tutoring with AI4I research and engineering teams
Voucher-based financial support, co-funded at local and national level
SUK: the Enabling Infrastructure
At the core of the programme is SUK, the AI-driven platform that connects companies seeking solutions with those able to provide them.
Powered by a semantic and reputational engine, SUK:
Identifies the best match between business needs and technological capabilities
Hosts a collaborative marketplace of ready-to-use models and microservices
Supports challenge-based innovation and pilot project development
Over half of the available solutions currently focus on manufacturing, with further applications in energy, mobility, logistics, retail, finance, healthcare and public services.
