The Italian Institute of Artificial Intelligence (AI4I) will take part in the AInnovation Start-Up Contest 2026, the initiative promoted by IEEE Italy Section and dedicated to AI-driven startups and early-stage teams. The event will be held on Tuesday, 24 February 2026, at the DAMA Conference Centre – Tecnopolo Botte B4, Bologna.
AI4I will participate as a member of AI Factory, where it is responsible for services to enterprises, supporting companies in accessing advanced AI infrastructures, expertise and tools to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence in industrial and business contexts.
During the event, Fiorenza Succu, Chief Evangelist at AI4I, will deliver a speech focused on innovation and on the role of research and technology-transfer infrastructures, also addressing the SUK (System User Knowledge) platform developed by AI4I to facilitate matchmaking between companies’ needs and AI solutions, competences and technologies.
In addition, Benedetto Cavicchi, Analytics Translator at AI4I, will take part in the initiative as a member of the jury, contributing to the evaluation of the finalist projects of the pitch competition.
The AInnovation Start-Up Contest brings together startups, researchers, industry representatives and investors, with the aim of showcasing high-impact AI solutions and fostering the growth of new innovative enterprises within the Italian and European AI ecosystem.
