AI4I Description
Headquartered in Turin, the Italian Center for Artificial Intelligence plays a key role in the study and dissemination of applied AI techniques and methodologies in various productive sectors, starting with automotive and aerospace.
The Institute aims to create an integrated research and innovation infrastructure that, through investments by public and private partners, can develop knowledge and expertise on AI, expanding the Foundation’s areas of activity to other industries, from advanced mechanics to healthcare, to financial services.
Responsibilities
- Media Relations, Social Media Strategy, Internal and External Communication.
- Supporting the preparation of the overall Communication Plan regarding corporate activities;
- Scouting for new communication opportunities targeting non-scientific stakeholders of interest (political-institutional, business, etc.);
- Content planning and development of texts and communication materials; preparation of documentation and texts to support the President’s communication activities.
- Relations with national and international institutions and public and private stakeholders.
- Networking activities with influential figures from institutions and business community.
Main stakeholders
- The role, as an expression of the Supervisory Board, operates across the board with all the main administrative and scientific functions. The role has public exposure, taking care of the Institute image and helping to consolidate its reputation among information professionals and the public.
- The role will have constant liaison with the President and the Supervisory Board, given its responsibilities over all institutional communication activities.
Ideal Profile
- The ideal candidate is a professional in the field of Communication, with appreciable and effective professional experience of at least 3-5 years gained in press offices and/or institutional communication offices at entities/companies within the perimeter of the Public Administration and/or national or multinational companies.
- The skills acquired must enable the candidate to manage all issues of the management of: (i) media relations and coordination of the press office; (ii) corporate communication, with particular reference to the promotion of the Institute mission; (iii) the implementation of content published on the web portal and the definition of the Institute Social Media Strategy; (iv) the internal communication.
- In addition to a bachelor’s degree in humanities or social sciences, consolidated professional experience is also required concerning the conception and management of events and the planning and implementation of dedicated editorial products.
- A solid portfolio of relationships with external stakeholders and professionals, nationally and internationally, will be considered as an asset.
- The ideal candidate should possess, in addition to an excellent command of written and oral communication, a cooperative and problem-solving-oriented approach, especially in highly challenging contexts.

- Knowledge of public and institutional communication mechanisms;
- Established network of relationships and contacts with external stakeholders and professionals;
- Established network of relations and contacts with companies and associations related to the business environment;
- Knowledge of the functioning mechanisms of research institutions, preferably according to the logic of the private sector and, in particular, research foundations (as is the case of AI4I);
- Knowledge of key public stakeholders and the dynamics of internal functioning and governance within Italian and European Union public administrations;
- In-depth knowledge of digital communication trends and implementation of editorial plans along the lines indicated by the Foundation’s general guidelines;
