Senior AI Adopter

We are seeking a highly skilled and insightful Senior AI Adopter, able to act as an Analytical Translator AI to join our team. This critical role is the bridge between our world-class AI researchers and engineers, and our industry partners and stakeholders.

You will be instrumental in translating complex AI capabilities into actionable business strategies and, conversely, articulating intricate business challenges into well-defined AI problems, contributing to the early orientation stages of the interaction with clients as well as to the finalization stages of technical requirements, ensuring that complex client needs are accurately translated into robust technical tender specifications for AI solutions.

You will be also part of the team who is delivering high-level AI solutions within the framework of the AIFactory project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bridging Technical & Business Domains: Act as the primary liaison between AI researchers/engineers and business/domain experts (both internal and external clients), facilitating clear and effective communication.
• Problem Framing & Translation: Understand complex industrial business problems and translate them into specific, solvable AI challenges, defining the scope and objectives for AI solution development.
• Solution Interpretation & Articulation: Explain the capabilities, limitations, and potential impact of AI models and research findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise, and business-oriented manner.

• Documentation: Manage the creation of technical documentation, presentations, and analyses required during the presales and tender preparation phases.
• Tender Specification Support: Contribute to the drafting and finalization of technical tender specifications, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with both client expectations and AI4I’s proposed solutions.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work in close coordination with the Business Development, Project Management, and Legal teams to ensure a balanced approach to client engagement and proposal development.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics) combined with strong business acumen, OR a degree in Business/Economics/Management with a strong demonstrated understanding of AI/Data Science concepts.
• 5-7 years of experience in a role requiring strong analytical and communication skills, such as a Business Analyst, Data Translator, Product Owner, or Consultant, ideally within a technology-driven or industrial context.
• Solid understanding of Artificial Intelligence concepts, methodologies (e.g., Machine Learning, Deep Learning), and their potential applications in industrial application and contexts.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
• Fluency in Italian and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
