CSP–IAS seminars resume in September with Bemporad and Zecchina
The CSP–IAS, the Institute for Advanced Study of AI4I, established with the contribution of Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, resumes in September with two new seminars of the highest scientific standing. This activity is part of an ongoing program of advanced research and dissemination, aimed primarily at the international scientific community.
Both upcoming events will feature distinguished scholars who are also members of the Scientific Committee of AI4I, chaired by Marco Pavone.
Regarding the second event, on September 16 (14:00–17:00), Alberto Bemporad (IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca) will speak on Efficient learning algorithms for model predictive control. The lecture will present efficient methods for nonlinear state-space model learning, including recurrent neural networks and quasi-Newton approaches, with applications to predictive control and adaptive modeling. The seminar will take place at OGR Tech Torino – Speakers’ Corner (100 seats) and online.
