Mind Machines – AI Dialogues

Speakers’ Corner, OGR Tech Torino
Wednesday, 24 September 2025 – 18:30

How can literature help us reflect on the dilemmas raised by artificial intelligence?
The new appointment of Mind Machines – AI Dialogues, the series promoted by AI4I with OGR Torino and Fondazione CRT, revisits the legacy of Italo Calvino as a lens to interpret the relationship between humanity and machines.

Massimo Sideri (journalist at Corriere della Sera and professor at Luiss Guido Carli University) and Andrea Prencipe (economist and former Rector of Luiss Guido Carli University) will lead the conversation, highlighting how Calvino’s narrative, rich in scientific curiosity and imaginative exploration, anticipates many of today’s questions on artificial intelligence.

The event, introduced by Fabio Pammolli, President of AI4I, will propose a multidimensional approach to AI, open to contamination between languages, disciplines, and visions. Literature, science, and technology will converge to offer new interpretative frameworks on the future of intelligent machines.

Participation is free, subject to registration
