AI4I to Present “Peano”, Its New AI Foundry for Research and Industry
On 16 July, at 10:30 a.m., AI4I will officially present Peano, its new AI Foundry, during a public event at OGR Torino – Sala Duomo.
Designed to accelerate the development, testing and industrial deployment of artificial intelligence, Peano is a strategic infrastructure that brings together high-performance computing, advanced AI capabilities and engineering expertise to support research, innovation and technology transfer for industry.
The event will open with institutional remarks by Stefano Lo Russo, Mayor of Turin, and Maurizio Marrone, Vice President of the Piedmont Region. Fabio Pammolli, President of AI4I, will then discuss the role of artificial intelligence as a strategic infrastructure for industrial competitiveness.
The programme will continue with the presentation of Peano by Riccardo Di Maria, Head of HPC/AI and Engineering at AI4I, followed by a keynote speech from Maria Grazia Giuffreda, Associate Director at the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (CSCS) – ETH Zurich, on computing power and technological sovereignty. Closing remarks will be delivered by Antonio Emilio Calegari, Director of AI4I.
