This was one of the key questions explored at Business Leaders Summit, the event that brought together C-level executives, industry experts, academics and institutional representatives in Milan to discuss the technologies and strategies shaping the future of innovation, competitiveness and digital transformation.
Within the Aquarium Innovation programme, AI4I contributed to the discussion through two sessions focused on challenges that are becoming increasingly central for both businesses and public administrations.
In the talk “Between Agility and Collaboration: Digital Sovereignty Rewrites the Rules of Data”, Benedetto Cavicchi, Business Development Manager at AI4I, addressed the strategies needed to ensure control, trust and value creation in an era defined by artificial intelligence, distributed infrastructures and growing data complexity.
Later, the roundtable “From Experimentation to Measurability: It’s Written Artificial Intelligence, It’s Read ROI”, moderated by Yari Nardiello, Head of Strategic Projects, focused on one of the most pressing challenges facing organizations today: transforming investments in AI into concrete, scalable and measurable outcomes. Discussions highlighted the importance of moving beyond pilot projects and establishing clear frameworks to assess the business value generated by AI adoption.
As artificial intelligence moves from experimentation to operational deployment, questions of governance, data sovereignty and impact measurement are becoming increasingly intertwined.
