The Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) is a key initiative of AI4I, developed in collaboration with the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation. It is designed as an open space where world-class researchers, industry leaders, and innovators come together to shape the future of artificial intelligence for industry. IAS is located in Turin and hosted at OGR Tech.

To foster a vibrant ecosystem where frontier research in AI meets the needs of the productive system. IAS promotes collaboration, knowledge sharing, and co-design, with AI4I acting as both facilitator and guarantor of scientific and technological excellence.
What We Do
- Organize advanced seminars and thematic workshops;
- Host international Lectio Magistralis;
- Launch training and mentorship initiatives for PhD students and researchers;
- Support networking activities with startups and industry players.

Cryptography and Machine Learning
4 days of lectures, workshops, and discussions with leading international researchers at the crossroads of cryptography and machine learning, from watermarking and data integrity to adversarial attacks and cryptographic hardness in learning.
IAS is part of AI4I’s broader strategy to position Italy as a leading actor in industrial AI and to enhance European technological sovereignty.
